Toyota India has launched the Urban Cruiser Taisor, Rebadged Version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Priced between Rs 7.74-13.04 lakh (ex-showroom), With this launch Taisor becomes the Smallest and Most Affordable SUV in Toyota’s lineup. Bookings are Now Open for a Token Amount of Rs 11,000, with Deliveries set to Commence from May 2024.
Exterior:
While based on the Same Platform as the Maruti Fronx, Taisor Distinguishes itself with Unique Exterior Features. Notable Changes include a Revamped grille, Stylish Same Style LED lighting both at the Front and Rear, and New 16-inch Alloy Wheels which looks very Similar to the Upcoming Tata Curvv Alloy Wheels which we have Seen in Bharat Mobility Show. Taisor Offers Multiple Colour Options, including Lucent Orange, Sportin Red, Cafe White, Enticing Silver, and Gaming Grey. It also Comes in Three Dual-Tone Options: Sportin Red/Midnight Black, Enticing Silver/Midnight Black, and Cafe White/Midnight Black.
Interior:
Inside the Urban Cruiser Taisor, it Feels Very Similar to the Maruti fronx. It has Toyota Badge and a Black and Maroon Colour Theme. Plus, it Gets Same Number of Features like a 9-inch Touchscreen, Wireless Phone Charger, 360 degree Camera, Toyota Connectivity, Heads Up Display and a Digital Instrument Cluster. In Terms of Safety it gets Six Airbags, Hill Hold Assist and Many More.

Engine Options:
The Urban Cruiser Taisor offers Two Engine Options: a 1.2-liter Naturally Aspirated Petrol Engine Delivering 90 PS Power and 113 NM of Torque, and a 1.0-liter Turbo Petrol Engine Producing 100 PS Power and 148 NM of Torque. Both Engines Come with a Choice of 5-Speed Manual or 6-Speed Automatic Transmission. Additionally, the 1.0-liter Turbocharged Engine is Available with a 6-Speed Torque Converter Automatic Transmission option.
Pricing:
Taisor Starts at Rs. 7.73 lakh for the base E trim with a 1.2L NA Petrol Engine, while the Top-spec V trim with a 1.0L Turbo Petrol Engine goes up to Rs. 13.03 lakh. Compared to the Maruti Fronx, which begins at Rs 7.5 lakh, Taisor Costs little bit More. However, for this Extra cost, it brings Distinct Design Elements and the Added Prestige of the Toyota badge.
