All New Maruti Swift 2024 launched at Rs 6.49 Lakh! After numerous sightings during testing, the highly anticipated Swift 2024 is finally here. Bookings for this sleek new model Swift have already started. Swift has always been seen as a prominent player in its segment, and this new Maruti Swift 2024 is expected to raise the bar even higher for its Competitors.
Exterior:
The new generation Swift comes with a newly designed front grille, new headlamps, new fog lamps, and a new bumper, with the logo now placed on top of the bumper instead of between the grille like in older models. In the side profile, it now features door handles placed on the doors instead of on the pillars like in older models. It also boasts a new 15-inch alloy wheel design. In the rear, it sports a new C-shape tail lamp design, a rear camera placed on the tailgate, and a new rear bumper. The New Swift 2024 is 15mm longer, 40mm narrower, and 30mm taller than the old Swift, with a wheelbase remaining the same as earlier at 2450 mm.
Interior:
The new Maruti Swift interior undergoes a major makeover, now feels more premium with the addition of a freestanding infotainment touchscreen, an updated instrument cluster, new upholstery, and a new switchgear design. Moreover, this interior bears a striking resemblance to the interiors of the Fronx, Brezza, and Baleno. In terms of features, it offers a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless charger, LED fog lamps, rear AC vents, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, cruise control, and many more.
Engine:
The previous generation Swift was equipped with a K Series 1.2-liter 4-cylinder engine, while the new 2024 model will feature a new Z Series 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine that produces 81.6 PS of power and 112 NM of torque. This is 8 hp and 1 NM less torque than the previous K Series engine, but this new engine offers an improvement of over 3 kmpl in mileage, with a claimed mileage of 25.72 kmpl for AMT and 24.8 kmpl for MT, marking a significant improvement in terms of mileage.
In terms of safety features, the next-gen Maruti Swift will come with six airbags, ABS, EBD, and ESP as standard.
