The Jeep brand is renowned for its rugged and off-road-capable SUVs. In India, we have one of their best off-road products, the Jeep Wrangler. Jeep India has recently launched the facelifted version of the Wrangler SUV with some unexpected changes. Prices for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler start at Rs 67.65 lakhs, and according to Jeep, they have already received more than 100 bookings for the Wrangler facelift.
The Wrangler facelift for 2024 will be offered in two variants in India: the Unlimited and Rubicon . Prices for the Unlimited variant Wrangler start at Rs 67.65 lakhs, while for the Wrangler Rubicon variant, prices start at Rs 71.65 lakhs.
Exterior Changes:
Let’s talk about the changes Jeep has made to the Wrangler. Well, the exterior features a new slimmer version of the iconic seven-slat grille, finished in black, while also hosting a front parking camera. Other highlights of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler’s exterior include the Gorilla Glass windshield, which also features an integrated stealth antenna, and the five new alloy wheel designs. One thing we can’t miss is that the Wrangler still allows you to remove the doors and roof for a open-air off-roading experience.
Interior Changes:
Inside, the changes are designed to make the 2024 Wrangler easier to live with. There are 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, a new instrument panel, as well as a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen powered by Jeep’s Uconnect software. The infotainment screen comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity options, navigation, and the ability to connect to two phones at once with Bluetooth. The Jeep Wrangler facelift is equipped with the similar 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine found in its predecessor. This robust powerplant, featuring a twin-scroll turbocharger, delivers an impressive output of 270bhp and 400Nm of peak torque. Coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission, Jeep’s all-wheel-drive system, and a low-ratio gearbox, power is efficiently distributed to all four wheels, ensuring enhanced performance and capability on various terrains.
Safety:
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler facelift comes equipped with a comprehensive safety features, boasting multiple airbags, including side curtain airbags for both rows of seats. Adding to its safety features is an off-road camera with front and rear views. The vehicle also offers traction control, electronic stability control (ESC) with electronic roll mitigation, among other safety aids. Furthermore, the new Jeep Wrangler facelift includes ADAS as standard, with features like Forward Collision Warning with Advanced Brake Assist, Auto High Beam Headlamps, Adaptive Cruise Control and many more.
